Union Station was built in 1911 as the western terminus of the Northern Pacific Railroad. Used as a train station until 1984, this restored historical landmark was put into use as a federal courthouse in 1992. The rotunda currently features an exhibition of works on load from internationally acclaimed glass artist Dale Chihuly.
