The Park Way Tavern, 313 N ‘I’ St., Tacoma

The building which houses the Parkway Tavern was originally a house. It was changed into a business location in 1935 and through the years operated as a grocery, deli and tavern until 1971 when it was named the Parkway Tavern. It has long been known as “The friendliest little tavern in Tacoma”.
