Tacoma Little Theatre
Tacoma Little Theatre began in 1918 as the Tacoma chapter of the Drama League of America, with the first show produced in December 1919. The group has occupied various spaces over the past century, including the Slavonian hall in old town, Annie Wright Seminary, and eventually the current building on North I street in 1940. The original structure shown in this image was built in 1913 as an auto repair shop. TLT has been at it’s present home in the Stadium District for over 70 years, making it among the longest running community theaters in the United States.
