Images in Colored Pencil…preserving history through art..

Vivid colored pencil renderings of favorite buildings and locales around the South Puget Sound. Prints, cards, posters and mugs commemorate the historic to the nostalgic in Anne’s retro-realistic style.

“Outstanding Achievement in Historic Preservation”

I have joined two of my great loves, history and art through my series of colored pencil renderings of favorite buildings and locales around the South Puget Sound. Through my art I have attempted to capture the beauty of this part of the world and hopefully shared my pride for the area with others. I have found that images of popular places bring fond memories flooding back to those of us who remember our lives through them.

Since beginning my art career in 1995, I have spent many years perfecting my technique for rendering realistic images of favorite subjects. That perseverance has led me to become an instructor of colored pencil and also to author a book on my other favorite subject, animals and pets. Please visit my “Workshop” page if you are interested in colored pencil instruction and also click on the “Book” button to get more information about my book “Realistic Pet Portraits in Colored Pencil”.

My work is available mainly through this website or directly from me at the many art events and festivals that I attend each year. For a listing of places to purchase or view my entire line of images in person, please go to my “Events” page.

In addition to offering prints and cards of my images, I have recently expanded to include “Commemorative Merchandise” such as mugs, posters and gift sets that will appeal to visitors and locals alike as a unique memento of Tacoma and the South Puget Sound.

Thank you for visiting my site!
